For Payment

  • After submitting your form you’ll be redirected to make your payment. Payment is required to confirm your submission for SAVI FEST 2026.

  • Our fees are customizable with a sliding scale of $10-$50. Our suggested price is $25.00. The revenue received from submissions go toward yearly SAVI FEST operating costs (such as website, business services, supplies and other essential systems), the remaining amount goes toward our scholarship programs and travel support for visiting artists.

  • How much you pay has no impact on your submission and is kept hidden from our judges and submission committee. More Submission FAQ

  • We require a link to a video representation of your full performance.

    • A video of just a segment of your show or no video is less likely to rank.

  • This year, all submissions will be initially reviewed by our Artistic Director and Programming Lead, who will thoughtfully select a curated group of approximately 20 teams to move forward in the process. From there, a small volunteer submissions committee will provide additional feedback and perspectives to help us shape our final lineup.

We anticipate selecting 8–12 teams to perform on our stage this year, and we are committed to curating a diverse, bold, and dynamic showcase that reflects a range of voices and styles from anywhere in the world.

  • Teamwork: The ensemble showcases a memorable and collaborative performance style, blending unique voices with strong, supportive energy.

Form: The cast delivers a cohesive and intentional form that’s inclusive, relevant, and well-suited to the audience.

Inspiration: The troupe presents diverse, engaging perspectives through dynamic storytelling and characters, offering a distinct and compelling identity.

  • SAVI FEST wants a full program of diverse representation of the art form. We are looking for a balance of duos up to ensembles that bring a variety of different performance styles.

    • Our festival Mainstage will showcase up to 15 incredible teams, each performing dynamic 20–25 minute sets. We’re excited to spotlight performances that push the art form forward, spark inspiration, and celebrate the unique voices shaping improv today.

Our goal is to create an experience that draws in new audiences while offering our local improv community moments of connection, creativity, and meaningful artistic growth.

  • We will build our program with a balance of these representations. We expect that your submission is a true picture of what you would bring to our stage in February should you be selected.

    • Size - We aim to feature a balance of groups of all sizes on our stage.

    • Style - We will assume all submissions are longform and are looking for diversity in styles. Here are examples of the style options.

      • Genre/Musical/Gimmick - does your show have a unique aspect that sets it apart from traditional longform structures or montages.

      • Shortform - is your show shortform games or have elements that feel like that. Performances are most likely 20 minutes, consider this if you are submitting a shortform performance.

      • "Other" Consideration - is your show something outside of the usual improv box but still in the realm of the art? We are open to truly new, innovative, or alternative forms of improv. Specify how you define the style as best you can.

  • Yes! You sure can, you will need to submit separately for each performance team. Submissions are free through July 14th. After which payment is required after every submission and you can use our sliding scale to make that affordable for you. Please keep in mind that we are looking for diversity of performers represented as well as sizes and styles. We aim to get as many folks on our stage as possible. If you have multiple teams or ideas with the same performers, best to consider this when submitting your projects.
